The right supporting programme is also provided in Zell am See-Kaprun: the region offers a wide selection of sports, cultural and nature experiences all year round. In summer, the activities range from joint hiking and biking tours - an exciting experience, for example, is the summit tour "My first 3,000-metre-high peak" on the 3,203 m high Kitzsteinhorn accompanied by mountain guides - and boat trips on Lake Zell to challenging dam climbing tours or quaint hut experiences with a view of Lake Zell.

In winter, the region offers three ski resorts: Zell's local mountain Schmittenhöhe, with views of more than 30 three-thousand-metre-high peaks, the high-altitude glacier ski resort Kitzsteinhorn, with top piste conditions from autumn to early summer (depending from the snow conditions) at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern with the family mountain Maiskogel, and the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. All three ski resorts can be conquered with just one ski ticket - the Ski ALPIN CARD. Thus, all ski and snowboard fans can look forward to a total of 408 kilometres of pistes. And that with just one ticket!
