Skiing Your skiing holiday in Austria
In winter, the mountain meadows around Zell am See-Kaprun are transformed into a playground for winter sports enthusiasts: 408 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes await you here in your ski resort in Austria: with the Ski ALPIN CARD included.
Skiing from autumn onwards
The Kitzsteinhorn glacier starts the operation of its cable cars and lifts as early as October (planned start of the ski season in winter 2025/26: 11 October 2025). Here you can enjoy a long ski season until early summer (planned end of winter season 2025/26: 25 May 2026; depending on the snow conditions). The glacier ski resort with top snow quality combines family-friendly downhill runs, powder runs on five freeride lines, action in four snow parks and skilful turns on wide pistes.
Variety on the Schmittenhöhe
As in summer, the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See also scores with absolute variety in winter: the panoramic and family ski resort beckons with pistes of all degrees of difficulty, from family downhill to carving experience.
With the Ski ALPIN CARD you can also use the pistes of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn: 270 kilometres of pistes provide daily variety during your skiing holiday in SalzburgerLand.
Renting ski boots, skis and snowboards
You can easily rent your equipment for your skiing holiday in Zell am See-Kaprun at the sports shops in the region. Here you will find the latest models and all the latest trends in winter sports fashion. You have brought your own skis? Treat them to a service before you hit the pistes! The qualified ski instructors and ski guides at the numerous local ski schools will show you how to manage the most beautiful turns, refine your technique and turn from beginner to professional on the pistes.
